Dawn Fain - Photographer

For anyone interested here is a little about me and my adventure in photography.  I've been married to my husband for 28 years and we have two wonderful grown sons.  While my passion is photography, my full time job is far from the photography field.  I'm also a Texas Wesleyan University alumni with a Bachelors in Science majoring in Sociology and I was the first in my family to go to college.
My love of photography and the memories I capture stems from my dad's side of my family.  For many years I was not in touch with my father’s side of the family, including him. When I became an adult I reached out to them and realized all the memories that I had missed and the enormous amount of family that I had on his side. I never realized what exactly my reason for being here was or what exactly was my passion. However, after beginning to bond with my father and his dad I realized that I wanted to preserve memories for myself as well as my children. So I picked up a camera and started to shoot. I love my family, animals, nature, sunset and architecture so that is what I started taking pictures of. Over the last 8 years it has expanded from landscapes and individual pictures to reunions, engagements, weddings and many other social events that clients wanted captured.
I hope you will allow me to help you capture your family’s memories whether it is a birth, birthday, graduation, senior pictures, family portraits, wedding or any other moment that arises. My only desire is to help families create and have “Memories for a Lifetime” at a reasonable cost!
